Ranger pricing: $30,000–$90,000/year for a 20-person team
How much does Ranger cost?
$30,000–$90,000/year for a 20-person product team
Checked 2 October 2026 · buyer-reported, not vendor-published· free, no email, no card
Ranger costs $30,000–$90,000/year for a 20-person team (20 seats), checked 2 October 2026 — buyer-reported, not vendor-published.
Pricing on request: Ranger sells custom annual contracts sized to the test suite with no published rate card; the published comparable unit is per test per month. Ranger's own comparison page cites QA Wolf at $40–$44 per test per month with a $90,000 median annual contract, so buyers report agentic-QA deals landing roughly $30,000–$90,000 a year for a 50–150 test suite (reported band, not vendor-published).
Only published source
This is the only row in our 61-price index that no one else publishes a figure for. Ranger publishes no figure we can quote: no rate card at all. ranger.net sells custom annual contracts, and its own comparison page prices QA Wolf ($40–$44 per test per month) while leaving its own column as “Custom quotes”.
Capterra — Lists the product in full — description, screenshots, FAQs — and under “Starting price” says “Contact vendor for pricing”. Read 2026-10-21.
Ry Walker Research — “Pricing is not publicly listed; Ranger sells custom annual contracts sized to the test suite, with quotes requiring a consultation.” Read 2026-10-21.
Ranger (vendor) — Ranger's own comparison table: Ranger “Custom quotes” against QA Wolf “$40–$44/test/month”. Read 2026-10-21.
“Only published source” means we could find no price for that tool published anywhere but here — not on the vendor's own rate card, and not on any third-party page, tracker, round-up or directory listing. How it was decided, on 2026-10-21: we took every researched row the price watch can find no vendor-published figure for and that no page in our citation ledger cites (23 rows), searched each one by hand — the tool's name with "pricing" and "cost", the figure itself, and its G2, Capterra and Vendr listings — and read every result back. 22 of the 23 turned out to have a price published somewhere else, so they are not flagged, whatever our own records said.

Ranger — An AI QA platform that writes and maintains end-to-end browser tests, selects which tests to run per deploy, and returns a pass or fail verdict.
Why it matters for PMsIt changes release-day regression testing, where PMs still hand-click critical flows before a launch gate because the suite is stale.

Our verdict on Ranger for a 20-person product org
PilotFree · no email · no card
Agentic E2E coverage is worth real money to a shipping team, but unpublished pricing and no public compliance report make a scoped thirty-day proof mandatory first.
Ranger— SOC 2, SSO and data handling
SSO not published; no public SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report on their site, so request one under NDA; tests run in Ranger-hosted cloud browsers against your staging environment, meaning test-account credentials and any seeded data leave your VPC, with training use not published.

This is the whole of one brief as subscribers receive it: the verdict, the one sentence behind it, the price a 20-person product org really lands on, the SSO, SOC 2 and data-handling line, and the three lines you can paste into #product. Graphite Agent
Reviews pull requests and answers questions about a diff inside GitHub, replacing Graphite's earlier standalone Diamond reviewer.
Why it matters for PMsCuts the review wait that stalls your sprint: small fixes get a first-pass review in minutes instead of sitting until an engineer frees up.
At under $10k a year it buys back reviewer hours on every sprint, and SOC 2 Type II clears the usual security review for a 20-person org.
Real price for a 20-person product org
The Team plan at $40 per user per month billed annually is where teams land, because Starter caps AI reviews and Chat; at 20 seats that is $9,600 a year. SAML/SSO, ACLs and audit logs are Enterprise-only (custom, pricing on request).
Integration & data risk
SAML/SSO, ACLs and SIEM audit logs require Enterprise; Team has none. SOC 2 Type II, report via the Cursor trust center. Code and PR context are processed in Graphite's cloud with LLM vendors as sub-processors; AI privacy and code-indexing controls are Enterprise-only.

Today small diffs wait hours for a human reviewer. Agent posts a first pass in minutes, so humans review logic, not formatting and null checks.

Against the $96/year plan it breaks even at five readers: $490/year for the licence against $480 for five annual subscriptions. From the sixth reader on it is the cheaper of the two, and the tenth and fortieth cost nothing more.
